I had always thought since good eczema management control is all about putting as much moisture into the skin as possible that cold weather (not the heat!) would be the worst time for eczema. Having now lived through a few years with eczema, warmer weather for us triggers more eczema flare ups than cold weather. It turns out hot weather is the most common trigger of eczema, especially in children, so you might notice your little one’s eczema more during summer than winter.
